Next edition: KOMINKI 2014

Thank you for visiting the KOMINKI International Fireplace Fair held on 23-26 April 2012 in Poznań.

In this year’s edition of the biennial INSTALACJE, WODOCIĄGI, KOMINKI, TCS fair participated 800 companies from 21 countries. In addition to leading Polish companies, manufacturers and distributors of global brands renowned in Europe were present in Poznań. Trade fairs were visited by 22 591 professionals seeking for the latest innovations.

Fireplace is a key element of many modern interiors, and its maintenance and use are becoming easier. The latest models of fireplaces and advanced technical solutions were presented by the exhibitors at the KOMINIKI International Fireplace Fair. This was the only opportunity in Poland to see the fireplaces in their full glory, with burning fire, presented in a closed exhibition hall! This exhibition, unique in the country, was feasible only at Międzynarodowe Targi Poznańskie [Poznan International Fair] due to a special exhaust system. For people planning to purchase a fireplaces, stoves and multi-fuel stoves, this fair was definitely the perfect place to compare offers, to acquire all the necessary information and get to know new solutions on the market.

NOVELTIES AT THE FAIR

During the KOMINKI, INSTALACJE, WODOCIĄGI, 2012 nearly 180 new products and technological solutions were presented at the fair.

Fair participants were able to take part in the competition called Polish Premiere of the KOMINIKI International Fireplace Fair organised by the Międzynarodowe Targi Poznańskie [Poznań International Fair] and the “Świat Kominków” publishing company. Products of companies LECHMA and TATAREK were awarded.

PRESTIGIOUS AWARDS

The best products and stands of this year's INSTALACJE, WODOCIĄGI, KOMINKI, TCS fairs were rewarded. The products presented at the fair characterised by advanced technological solutions and offering the highest quality level were awarded the MTP Gold Medal, and in the Acanthus Aureus competition the best boots were rewarded, designed and prepared in such a way to implement the company's marketing strategy.

In 2012 the Gold Medal of Międzynarodowe Targi Poznańskie [Poznan International Fair] competition took place for the first time in its new formula. Already a month before the fair the Jury chaired by prof. Edward Szczechowiak Ph.D., the director of the Institute of Environmental Engineering, Poznań University of Technology awarded the Gold Medal to 13 products submitted to the competition at the INSTALACJE fair and to 1 product submitted at the KOMINKI fair. All Gold Medal awards are equally important.

For the first time the professionals can also select the best product. Voting takes place on the Internet on the www.zlotymedal.mtp.pl webstie until May 26, 2012.

BE IN THE CENTRE OF EVENTS

Besides a comprehensive exhibition of company offers, the fair also included several seminars and conferences devoted to the safety issues and market condition. Very popular were also lectures on "How to safely operate the home fireplace?" and the Fireplace Conference concerning topics: safety, technology, ecology, business.

Having in mind especially the designers and architects a special area - the Architect Zone - was created at the KOMINKI fair prepared by Międzynarodowe Targi Poznańskie [International Poznań Fair], the quarterly magazine “Świat Kominków” and the PaletteCAD company, manufacturer of professional software to design fireplaces. During two-day conference series concerning both the design and technical aspects of tile-stove setting industry visitors were able to seek advice from the professionals conducting the lectures and presentations on water technology, electronics and technology of hot air distribution. Moreover, in the Architect Zone there were the mosaic workshops led by Waldemar Milka - a mosaic maker; the shows involving the construction of furnaces and the presentation of historic and beautiful masonry heaters located on the territory of Poland.
